Valda Boardman PR are seeking an experienced and highly motivated PR Intern to join the
team as part of a busy and exciting integrated marketing and creative agency, located in the
heart of Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

corporate and business profiling, brand awareness campaigns, media and influencer
engagement and bespoke international client events.
This is a full-time paid for internship role commencing asap.
Working with Account Executive and Director of PR on our portfolio of clients across varying
sectors. Supporting the development and management of PR campaigns for clients.
Research, draft and syndicate media documents and presentations under guidance.
Develop an understanding of the traditional and online media landscape
Support the team in liaising with national, local and specialist media representatives to
maximise media coverage.
Attend client meetings where relevant. Participate and support the broader agency team in marketing, digital and events. Work with third party partners/suppliers in coordinating activities.
Report daily into Account Executive.
Appropriate/relevant 3rd level degree. Masters specialisation in PR or Journalism
preferable. Digitally savvy.
Required skills & experience:
Curious, tenacious and articulate – creatively minded, innovative, with a curious interest
and familiarity with both traditional and new media platforms
Organised and a self starter with proven writing and presentation skills. Self motivated,
with initiative to participate learn the varied elements of an active PR team.
Confident working with the PR team, learning how to interpret client expectations into
activation plans and proposals, develop media pitch angles and press releases, presentation
documents, evaluation reports, etc.
We have taken all Government advised Covid-19 precautions in the agency. As a creative
agency, person to person is essential and our preference is for a blend of in-office and work
from home. Ideally the preferred candidate will grow into a full time position and the successful
