Creative Assistant

 

Summary

o Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Creative Assistant will assist across various branding projects to help build and maintain a strong and cohesive brand both on and offline

o This role requires input across design, infographics, videos, presentations, guides, and other promotional and informational materials

o This is a key role within the Marketing Department, which supports the commercial sales objectives of the Institute

 

 

Experience level

o Degree or diploma in Marketing, design or related field

o Previous experience within a busy, commercially focussed marketing environment

 

Specific skills

o Excellent photography and videography skills and experience

o Experience with photo or video editing software (e.g. Photoshop Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro)

o Creative flair and graphic design skills.

o Highly creative individual with a passion for marketing – must display a knowledge of branding, identity and creative strategy

o Good organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines

o Experience of content-management of a business website

o Strong copywriting skills

o Good written and verbal communication abilities

o Good interpersonal skills and a confident manner

o Highly proficient in English and English grammar

o Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure

 

Duties and responsibilities

o Help design promotional material for events, including display, brochures and videos, infographics, presentations, guides, and other promotional and informational materials

o Prepare content for internal use (staff newsletters etc.)

o Write copy for marketing and communication material, including brochures, infographics and social media posts

o Create effective content for digital marketing channels

o Liaise with creative agency partners to manage images, logos, stats and content to use in various creative projects

o Assist with updating of the Institute website content

o Develop an extensive bank of videos and photography assets and maintain records of all videos, images and other assets

o Research and recommend new ideas for improving and developing our visual brand
