			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Chemistry has won the creative account for BMW/Mini which was put out to pitch two months ago.<br />
The agency, which is headed up by Ray Sheerin, saw off rival agencies Rotcho and, Boys and Girls. The incumbent agency is McConnells. The media account was not put out to pitch and all media is still being handled by Carat.</p>
<p>Like many other car manufacturers, sales of BMW and Mini were hit badly over the past three years. However there is clear evidence that both marques share of new car registrations is improving dramatically and BMW/Mini is keen to push this increase even further. Figures compiled by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) show that BMW only sold 52 new cars in 2008. This rose to 1,405 in 2009 and to 1,642 for the first six months of 2010. In whole 2009 Mini sold 263 units while for the first six months of this year the number was 256.<br />

This role will be based in Dublin with some international travel mainly UK (London) but some European travel possibly. Packages will range in scope and value. The event is a prestigious event being held in October. Further events will be part of the role for 2011 to a total of 3 or 4. This current event will require turn-around time in a short period.</p>
<p>The Job<br />
- The ideal candidate would have 3 years experience in a sales role in a media, marketing or event management environment with international exposure<br />
- Demonstrate ability to achieve targets<br />
- The candidate will be well presented, highly articulate and strong on presentation and communication skills<br />

<p>• Overall understanding and coordination of various disciplines will be required to ensure goals are being met and costs are being maintained: Exhibit design, exhibit floor planning, event rentals, graphic media, audio visual (hardware), accommodation, catering, show logistics, lead generation, post event follow up. </p>
<p>• Maintain key business supplier relationships and develop timelines with key milestones and monitor execution and evaluate results </p>

To act as the central point of liaison and coordination with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.<br />
To work with internal technologists and, where appropriate, external vendors to develop and implement appropriate solutions, ensuring functionality, infrastructure and processes are in place to support the business through implementation, market launch and full lifecycle.<br />
To manage multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes/complexities and external vendor relationships, developing and maintaining project plans/milestones and coordinating project activities while tracking accomplishments and results.<br />
To maintain overall control and accountability for the schedule and the delivery of expected deliverables.<br />
To actively manage scope changes and the impact to the overall plan.<br />
To demonstrate knowledge of the supported/related business area. To control the project budget and provide support in the Planning and Forecasting processes.<br />
To provide regular communication to management and the project stakeholders of project status, including risks &#038; issues and mitigations.<br />
To provide analytical, technical, business and management expertise to the groupThe successful candidate will gain an in-depth understanding of the TTS business.<br />

<p><strong>Knowledge/Experience:</strong><br />
Experience of delivering large and complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations<br />
Knowledge of the financial industry in relation to Treasury &#038; Trade Service business is preferred Significant project management experience of applications development or implementation<br />
Extensive IT experience, preferably encompassing analysis and/or development<br />
Practical knowledge of project management tools<br />
Understanding of risk/resource management<br />
Experience in vendor management Educated to degree level<br />
A project management qualification such as PMP or Prince 2 would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.<br />
